Place your Bets!!!!!!!

Im guessing 73% in Favor, 96% participation

Qotsaautopilot 02-28-2018 04:51 AM

Not going to speculate on outcome. Less than 90% participation

beech_nut 02-28-2018 05:15 AM

It would be funny if it was 26% no again. People could bust out the old lanyards. I doubt it will be anywhere near that high against. I was adamantly no at first but the continuous sales pitch of info gradually changed my mind. No doubt at all it is going to pass by a wide margin.

In all seriousness time to head to the doctor for those of you that have been putting it off because you were worried of what they might find. You are officially covered til 65

My point is I think some guys had some weird medical issues they have been waiting to get get looked at because of our crappy LTD that only paid for 2 years. Starting tomorrow they are covered on LTD til 65 if they lose their medical. Big difference.

Yes, that’s what LTD covers. Ignore the above poster.

Wait until you have a full year at the new rates. You benefit is based on your last W2.

Schedule your Doc visit for 2019 or 2020 if you can wait that long. :)

This!!! As your coverage is based on 60% of LAST year's earnings...

This is understood but the own occupation coverage was/is the big deal. If someone has a medical issue that is worrying them they should probably see someone sooner rather than 10mo from now.

Seriously, this is none of your concern on what others should do regarding their medical issues they may have.

I know you like playing scope lawyer, now you want to be high school counselor and doctor too.

Give it a rest. You are annoying as hell, trying to be the self appointed "voice of reason" on these forums.

LOVE! He has no life so he gets to be jack of all trades on APC. And his buddies will rush to the defense "he's the voice of reason" and bash any of us who call bull$hit on him.

Here's a thought for all of us- get off the computer and enjoy our lives for a bit- whether it's what we should have gotten, deserve, whatever, we all just got a pretty nice raise and some good protections.

Wow. Not a Spirit pilot. I assume that, from reading this thread, your new LTD is 60% post tax based on trailing earnings, capped at 15K/mo and payable to normal retirement. If so, that’s an industry leading LTD.

As a comparison, United’s is 60% post tax based on current hourly pay, 84 hrs, payable to normal retirement. But capped at 8k/mo.

Congratulations on such a great LTD benefit and thanks to all Spirit pilots for raising the bar on this item. I expect to see this matched industry wide thanks to you guys.
