Phone Interview

Hey Guys, I got my application in at Spirit last on Friday. I've seen on other sites its taking around usually a week or so to get a response. I've also heard about an initial phone interview. I was just wondering what the phone interview went over.

Thanks Guys!

"Why do you want to work at spirit? Any skeletons in your closet we should know about? Why do you want to leave your current place of employment?... When are you available to come down and interview in FLL?"

That was pretty much the gist of it 3 years ago...

Yeah I just had my phone interview yesterday. Was super layed back, and evidently hasn’t changed in 3yrs hahaha.

March 27th FLL interview. Looking forward to it!

At the interview remember to be really friendly to everyone and to participate in all of the games they play during the day. Have your TMAAT Answers planed out already ( especially the one about having a disagreement with a co worker and how you resolved it ) and know your logbook. Besides that it's a very relaxed interview

Thanks for all the info!

What do you mean by “know your logbook”?

Be able to explain any strange entries or corrections. Also know what errors exist, if any.

Once Spirit makes a job offer, how long is the offer good for ?

Could a new hire pilot choose a class date a couple of months away ?
I would imagine there is a certain period of time needed for home study before showing up at training.

Does Spirit pay for single occupancy hotel room during training ? What hotel do they use ?

Thanks for any insight.
