How would Spirit fare in southwest’s situatio

My guess is we would be destroyed in the 24hr media. Company would ask for concessions within a month.

The DFW engine event was buried pretty well but no one died.

Are you saying we would not be hailed as "HEROES" since we are only low-tier pilots!?

More likely the airline would be framed as a discounter on mx even if it wasn’t true. It would be a very negative PR push against Spirit I think

This is a pointless thread...

Qotsaautopilot 04-18-2018 06:08 AM

Probably. It’s just interesting to watch the “coverage” of southwest and can’t but speculate that we (Spirit) would be covered differently

We can let the thread die. Was just thinking out loud killing time. We go back to speculating about airplane orders

We probably will be the next on 60mins.:D

Over run many runways and collaps a nose gear, then ask question

The politically correct modes of travel get the favorable coverage. Witness the coverage Amtrak gets every time they kill someone at an un gated crossing.

Per passenger mile nothing compares to US airlines, but they just aren't politically correct.

This is how this would go down.

We all get high fives and sent another email with a cupcake we can't actually eat.

‘Course Amtrak is completely controlled by the government....
