United Healthcare/Optum Bank HSA in error?
 

According to United Healthcare, a number of our crews had HSA accounts opened in their names in error!
Has anyone received mail including a debit card?
Apparently all these accounts were found and closed.
I confirmed mine personally, and suggest y'all do the same.

When you are done being an internet d bag, when did the e-mail come out? Can't seem to find it.

Yeah really. Got the card but no email.

Got the email on the 10th. A couple days later a debit card and yesterday a statement from Optum Bank.

I got the card first, email second, and the statement today..... Really curious what spurred this erroneous enrollment for many of us.

I called united Healthcare and was told to shred the card. Just received a statement in the mail yesterday. Not sure who’s error it was, but not happy they opened an account without my consent.

I declined the job offer in March and rec'd a card & statement recently. :confused:

Well now i'm all confused. I got another letter in the mail from them today saying "thank you for opening your HSA with us". I have yet to get any e-mail from them. So we don't get an HSA and this is all just a foul up?

My email was from Spirit (to my Spirit email) acknowledging their screw up with the issue. I presumed that’s the email other people were talking about.

Yea its just weird that they didn't send it out to the whole pilot group because I sure never got it. And a few others I talked to didn't get it either.

No email or contact for me. I don’t use Spirit’s healthcare, so this was a surprise.
