Odds on an aircraft order at farnborough. I’m at 6 to 1 odds.

I have zero inside info.😁🍺cheers.

What’s the point of announcing orders at airshows? I’ve never heard of aircraft orders at Oshkosh or sun and fun or the FLL air and sea show.

Guess you're not familiar with the large order we placed at the Dubai Airshow in 2011???? The airshows you listed pale in comparison.

True. The one Paris air show I went to made Oshkosh look like a pancake fly in. Seems like large orders are made every year at Dubai and Paris.

Boeing and Airbus said big orders to be announced. These are the air shows that produce larger order numbers. Spirit can’t drag their feet forever.

Why wait it my point? Why not just announce it whenever the parties agree with a press release? Why wait until an air show?

What are these airshows anyway? Do we have anything comparable? Is this like where the blue angles come or more like the consumer electronics convention and not really an “airshow” as I understand them? Sorry for my ignorance I just don’t follow airplanes as a hobby. When someone mentions a big foreign airshow I’m wondering how they even knew it was coming up.

Now that Airbus & CSeries and Boeing & Embraer are tied together, I would expect some big combo deals.

Farnborough airshow

No airshow in America compares to the these mega overseas airshows (Paris, Dubai, Farnborough).

World powers make major military deals, civilian/corporate jet deals, and other major aviation related, space, manufacturing business deals, showcases & demos are made there. Suprise visitations, etc.

Think of it as a place you come to show off how big your stick is. To show your shareholders why your the most competitive in your related aerospace sector, and why you are the most advanced hunk in the meat locker.

It’s like the primer league of European soccer, but for top industry brass, news. Secret deals and public deals are made back door and front door.

Google it, they are very exciting places to be.

Boeing & Airbus are the most competitive at these shows. They sometimes go head to head to sign the most deals and jet orders at these airshows. Some years are better than others.

Its like the CES, or San Diego Comic-Con, of the aviation world.

You cannot compare the major international airshows like Farnborough, Le Bourget or Dubai to Americana air fest like Osh' or Sun & Fun. There is no international airshow of that level in the US.

Most major airlines/manufacturer orders are announced/signed at those International airshow which are new plane display shows, not aviation county fairs where every Piper Cub ever produced is displayed. Those are business, trade shows.

I once built a model of the Arrow. No, I don't mean PA-28.

(People are going to be wondering, what the hell is he talking about?:))

I wonder every day about these tards obsession over things that "might" happen....
Things they have zero control over.

Let's just speculate!
