Interveiwing again
Hey guys I wanted to work at spirit for a while and interveiwed there about a year ago was told I didn’t get the job but was told I could apply again so I did. I was wondering what time frame were looking at. Little background in cutrently at silver flying some trips been with a couple other regionals. Am also being considered by Frontier now with their big contract. I have a hot pan on the Moxy table too but that’s a while away but man I really missed the boat not getting on with spirit back in the day. How senior would I be if I was hired in spring of 2016? Like 40% captain in FLL? Anyways just looking for some tips on what I could do I’ve gotta get out of silver and it seems without a degree the legacies won’t touch me. I’m working on one with Everglades it’s taking time but I’ll have it soon then I will take calls from legacy but for now I need to get somewhere. I was talking w some frontier guys on there board and they told me the bus would be an easy plane to fly even though I was worried it seems they calmed me down and I could learn it. I interveiwed with that Chief pilot in FLL that blinked a lot probably a nervous twitch

But you’d be NOWHERE EVEN CLOSE to 40% for FLL Captains with a 2016 hire date. You’d barely be a Captain if at all |

Well duh I do I’m trying to network but I guess spirit guys aren’t as welcoming as Frontier hah that’s fine thanks for the warm welcome there’s always rumors about spirit guys being pricks but I guess if anything this thread proves that theory correct. I just got an offer from a JB guy for a letter and I’m going to take him up on it. I’ll hopefully be Blue soon. Good luck with your 2% domestic market share and your toys r us pilot contract maybe next time you will get a better contract just like frontier just did

Don't bash the Saab, the Saab is pretty sweet imho. But this guy went from networking to insulting in 2 posts. I guess the hiring team did their job last time he interviewed.
I flew the Saab...good times, just getting Captain America all worked up like he’s attempting to do to so many of us...albeit poorly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
The Swedish Sauna flew it for 6 months at HiHo Silver!!! before spirit to keep current and qualified. It had a lot of power until reaching 2000 feet.
