You cannot just skip the longevity table of the CBA unless there is a side letter in our contract that I’m not aware of. That’s like saying a 10yr FA hired as a pilot would be a 10yr FO for pay. The only thing they keep is their employee number on the badge which really is meaningless. |

Hey, sorry to resurrect an old thread, but: does anyone know if they're serious about only hiring University 141 instructors for this program? I'm in the process of getting my CFI right now at the non-university 141 where I've gone from instrument to CMEL since July, and I'm very interested in this program, but if I'm not eligible, best to know now.
Anybody know what the schedules are like? |

I believe you must have your ATP hour requirements or close to it. You have to commit to two years as a ground instructor and then you get assigned a class date as a new hire FO. I did initial in July and my instructor had 750 hours. He had been there 8 months already. He was flying a Ce150 building time on the weekends. |
