Contractual?
I'm looking now.. Got a ways to go but want to check on what we do get...
|
New guy here, have an interview scheduled in a few weeks.
Are you all saying that should a Spirit employee no-rev on, let's say, Lufthansa, you can only get a coach seat? Business and First Class is closed to us? Also, is there a way to see open seats on the ZED approved airlines? Thanks, D~ |
Don’t come to spirit for the zed fare agreements.

So you only have a rough idea if you get on. |

Unfortunately that’s how it exactly is. You can only book the category that your own airline offers. As Spirit is coach only you have zero chance at first or business class.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk This ^^^ No United/Delta/AA zeds and yes only coach on Lufthansa and any others we actually have. Don’t come here for the zeds, if you do you’ll be disappointed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Staff Traveler is the game changer app. Forget the rest. 3. I know you didn’t ask for advice, but why in the world would you be concerned about ZEDs on LH? Need to make it to Europe? There are very affordable tickets these days, some of those fares come close to a ZED price and they’re confirmed. Summertime could be more expensive, but then again flights are full and making it on a ZED ticket could be unpractical. If you really want to go the cheap way, Jumpseat on any of the big 3. You’ll be at the bottom of the priority list, but could make it eastbound completely free. Westbound, you’d have to pay taxes. |

And I left my house for my commute this morning with yellow smileys on my first two options. Didn’t make it on either.

This. If you use StaffTraveler (loads), Passrider (all options A to B) and FlightStats (same as passrider but can see all flights departing/arriving at an airport in time order (for those unfortunate 2 leg/creative commute options)), you will be a commuting god.
