Looking for current base award times and upgrade times for both MCO and FLL.

First award was FLL

varies greatly month to month and year to year. 2014-2015 all upgs were dfw/las/ord, took me 2+ years to get back to FLL, 6 months later FLL was the jr capt base

Currently for newhires:

FLL out of training or 1 month
MCO within a few months

Any base in the system will be easily attainable with all of the hiring and upgrading going on this year and next. Upgrade times are only accurate for those upgrading today or in the near future. MCO is still expanding and is somewhat of a wildcard in terms of seniority, but the trend thus far is a lot of mid to high seniority captains bidding over.

Thanks for all the info! Looking to make my way down to the space coast area, so I'm looking at all options at MCO. I met a one of yours down there and he seemed to really like working for Spirit. He had a lot of good things to say about the MCO base.
