does anybody have recent phone interview experience? what kinds of questions do they ask lately? also how long does it usually take to get an invite for F2F after the phone interview?

There's nothing to the phone interview. You basically just tell them about yourself, and talk about Spirit. I got the invite to interview during the phone interview and that's pretty standard.

Any latest and greatest on items covered?

Is it just a phone call, or are they using Skype/FaceTime, also?

Honestly it’s just a phone call. They could call you out of the blue and you’d be fine. Tell me a bit about yourself, why Spirit, do you have any failures, and when can we meet you in FLL. The HR reps making the calls are extremely nice and welcoming, so is the staff at the interview. Couldn’t be more excited :D
