Way back in Captain upgrade here some years ago I was taught to answer three questions whenever Company guidance was fuzzy. Is it legal? Is it safe? Does it make business sense for the Company? Re APU usage using the main engine to save wear and tear on the little engine and also keeping the cabin cool I go by Steve Martin’s classic rant in “Roxanne” where he yells at the firefighters who nearly burn down the firehouse. I paraphrase: “I have a dream. It’s not a big dream. It’s a little dream. But’s it’s my dream. And it’s this. When the people of my community want to fly somewhere comfortably and safely I want them to think that flying on Spirit would be the wise thing to do. I don’t want people saying whatever you do don’t fly on Spirit”

APU; works great.
Bottom line.
Until I see effort in the air carts being hooked up quickly and then working, bleed will stay on.
Or how about I’ll start caring about the APU and it’s cycles as soon as the FAs make a PA to close the shades. Easiest tool we have to keep the plane cool and we can’t even say “please close the shades and open the vents”.
Bottom line.

I wonder if the air conditioning in the new headquarters will blow 75 degrees from the ducts like the gate air does? My guess if Teddy gets hot in his office, they will have those units fixed in no time. His office guitars dont like a hot and humid environment.
