I’ve heard the plan of doubling Vegas within 2 years from the Vegas base chief as well. However what Spirit wants and even plans for isn’t always what happens (remember the LGA and SJU base and all the flying we were supposed to start out of those). I also heard that this LAS expansion is contingent on G4 giving up some gate space. Not trying to rain on the Vegas parade, I really want Vegas to grow as well. Not expecting it, but will be pleased when it happens.

The expansion will be in Asheville, Latrobe, Greensboro and Burbank.

Get ready for Burbank to Asheville Red Eye flights. Latrobe Burbank is another one being pondered as we speak.

Contract 2018 complete, 100 Airbus order, now what?

Ponder a merger? Contemplate contract 2026?

Complain about short layover hotels suddenly becoming sub quality to the long layover hotels?

Figure out how to get mid cycle gains? Profit sharing?

Not surprised, seems like their always looking for planes. That’s how the fleet plan went from 150ish to 190ish without any new orders.

This is awesome. Any idea on where or from whom we like to acquire planes from?

Not to be a Debbie downer, but, they might be leasing them in the interim until our actual orders come on line, then return said leased aircraft. Just something to keep in mind.

Who cares, it’s faster growth in the short term.
