DTW Parking
 

I’m a DTW commuter for another airline not based at Metro. Been using Airlines Parking for several years, but they are eliminating the monthly employee rate and changing it to $5/day starting January. I know you Spirit guys park there as well. Will you guys continue to park there or move? Any other lots with a better deal? I think the same greedy bastard owns all the lots around the airport!?

Company pays for it so no idea what the rates are. Same guy owns all of the parking lots and half the hotels around there...

Same dude owns everything. I assume not, but does your company cover parking at at least one airport under a commuter clause? I know several airlines will match whatever the local airports (your airlines base) parking costs.

I’m not a hundred percent sure but I think NK only provides parking at any NK base. And what I’ve heard from commuters is that they don’t reimburse you for off base parking. Maybe somebody can confirm this.

That’s correct. Parking is reimbursed for any NK base, but not other airports. They will issue a letter so you can get employee rates at other airports though.

I just wish PRES would come in and flush those greedy owners the heck out of owning everything around there. Merica!

Anyone happen to find any other options for parking in DTW?
