well, I guess it still beats overflying Minneapolis while trying to get your line bidding figured out at that...

Oh come on. Heated debates are totally excusable when overflying Minneapolis by 100 miles. But 150? Gotta draw the line somewhere.

There’s a gentleman that recently left Atlas on the 76 for one of the U/LCCs that updated his app with his new job and got an DAL interview two weeks later.

Atlas guys have been leaving for the regionals and then getting picked up by legacies as well. It’s very clear your experiences as an Atlas pilot are valued more by other companies than by your own company.

I’m one of those who left Atlas in Jan. I was a fairly new 76 Capt. I loved the job at Atlas and really wanted to make it work but I got sick of waiting it out and when JD was announced as CEO, I felt the future as a career was bleak. I didn’t go to Spirit so I don’t know how life is there. But I look back now as, Atlas was the best job I ever quit, but I have zero regrets when I think about having resigned. QOL, Schedule control, retirement, pay, etc. Much better for me and my family. Getting out from underneath SL’s planning regime has been extremely freeing. Best of luck in your decision and getting out of you choose to.

Reserve in base is great some months. I've flown a 1 day and two 3 days the last 2 months. So my beard is growing. Getting a lot of projects done around home. Not saying reserve is great, there are some months that you are used a lot (summer) and the rules need to be better next contract. Like not being able to use float vacation on green days to drop.
