I have been applying for years and a buddy of mine went to the base chief pilot and walked my resume in. A couple of days later, I got an email to schedule a phone interview. If you haven't received a TBNT, you should be in the pool, but it might take an insider to get your app pulled. I'd suggest reaching out to anyone you know at Spirit to see if they can help you out.

Yeah it’s pretty much a prerequisite it seem to either attend a MTC or have someone internally recommend you.

Talked to my buddies at the school house yesterday and they said full steam ahead. But I hope you guys know airlines hire up to the point they don't need you. Every one of them. History repeats, if the bookings drop I would say the music will stop. I just came home off a 2 day and I was over sold on every leg! Same can't be said for other airlines clearly. We fly a lot of north/south. Not east/west. I'm sure the Company will have a comment soon if the bookings drop off. Fact is if you're in the bottom 10% at an ANY airline you should be concerned.

Isn’t our break even around 60% load factor? At least that’s a number I’ve heard before. If that’s true doubt spirit is to worried about cutting capacity.

Same here, I just came off a 4 day and was full on every flight.

Just got an email today from one of the recruiters verifying that I am still attending my interview on the 10th, so I guess they are at the least still looking to hire.
Will these new hires be on the street in a month who knows..but right now looks like business as usual🤷🏼‍♂️
