Electronic logbook

Hi all,

Having F2F interview with Spirit and asked to present all logbooks, however all 121 time is logged and transferred to an electronic logbook.

Did any of you have any experience coming to interview with electronic logbook ?
Thank you

I used a service to convert my electronic logbook to paper format. Convertmylogbook.com. There are several services. Usually about 25 cents per page, and you can send in photos of the log pages so that you don’t have to send in the logbook. Takes about a week to get it back, and they’ll flag anything that they have a question about for you to edit.

I second this. Bring a printout. That’s what I did. I’m not sure how it looks if you show up with an iPad. Just go to Staples, it’s not expensive.

I had mine printed and placed in a binder. I think they spent all of 30 seconds looking at it.

I have 4,000TT and recently sat down and finally input all of it into my electronic logbook. Granted, I had 300 hrs already put into the eLog it took me a week and a half to complete. Spent roughly 3-4 hours a day on it though. Looked at it as an investment. Glad I did because I was able to really tidy up all my app. I have a MTC in March. Very excited!

I had my logbook printed out at logbook solutions. When I had my interview I was told it was the best logbook he had ever seen. Highly recommend you go this route. But you definitely need to have it printed for the interview.

I had all my GA time in a paper logbook and all my airline time electronic printed out, gave them two books no issue, as long as the first page of your electronic has the times from your paper forwarded.

Take your time with it and make it look as professional as possible. Even something as small as a good looking logbook could help make a good first impression during the face to face interview.

I spent forever printing mine off logbook pro.

Simple

email then your file and they’ll send you a very professional logbook, and it’s all customizable. Excellent service and quality product. They flipped through mine in the interview and said “wow, these are really nice,” and just handed it back to me. You can print it in jeppesen format on green paper.

Did you do the dividers as well? Just placed my order. Looks like a very well put together setup they have.

I use LogTen pro. Went to staples and had them print and bind it using the jepp green paper. Looked great. Cost maybe 40 bucks.

Printed mine on the crew room printer. :insert devil emoji here:

Same here - they were impressed with the paper ga and electronic 121 in a personalized leather padded binder from logten pro - the Mac logbook software. Have everything they want in a nice presentation. Shows you want to be here and took the time and effort to show your qualifications.

You can even go the extra mile and print up your logbook on canary yellow paper.

Not as obvious perhaps as Yellow Suit Guy but it sends the message nevertheless...

I wore a black suit with a yellow tie. Had my logbook in a black 3 ring binder, and the other loose papers in a yellow plastic 3 ring punched folder that was also in the 3 ring binder. Jokingly pointed it out as well - got a chuckle from the interviewers - got the CJO too

Go to staples or a similar store and pay $20 to print it out and get a nice binding and cardboard cover for it.
