wifi has become a 5 year project. Check back on ETOPS in 2025. I’d bet we won’t have a new contract then either.

Says who and for what?

I don’t believe a word of it, but I did recently hear a rumor about exploring layover options on some of WOW’s former routes.

What is a realistic timeframe for a new contract?

I heard it too. We want to launch the A321 LR NEO once we get them from Baltimore to LHR, CDG, TXL, LHR and MAD

we don’t have any ordered

we have 20 some odd 321 NEOs on order with options for another 50 airframes. Those slots are still several years from delivery. It wouldn’t be hard to make them LR’s if Spirit wants to lean that way.

Thats ink on paper and nothing more. We’re still years away from assembly, which means it’s nothing at all to tell Airbus that we want the LR tanks.

Strategies change. The order of 30+ 319NEOs is evidence enough if that.

I’m surprised RemoveB4flight hasn’t came on here and given a pompous response of why he wouldn’t fly the ETOPS routes.

Probably because he’s mature enough to respond to every attempt of yours to mock him. Grow up.

Talkin bout ETOPS, we can’t even figure out how to stop emailing the entire company about flight attendant problems.

It’s not if you know what you are doing or have done it before. Some people here have never used an HF or knew how to do a SELCAL check. Not to mention our OFP is not designed for Class II navigation.. the AFM and FOM contradict each other etc.. So I can see where the confusion is.

Where’s our paid training for this new training? SPA, are you out there? Maybe it’s part of the quid?

We get the BARE training experience ;) you have to pay to have it.
