wifi has become a 5 year project. Check back on ETOPS in 2025. I’d bet we won’t have a new contract then either.

we have 20 some odd 321 NEOs on order with options for another 50 airframes. Those slots are still several years from delivery. It wouldn’t be hard to make them LR’s if Spirit wants to lean that way.

Thats ink on paper and nothing more. We’re still years away from assembly, which means it’s nothing at all to tell Airbus that we want the LR tanks.

Strategies change. The order of 30+ 319NEOs is evidence enough if that.

It’s not if you know what you are doing or have done it before. Some people here have never used an HF or knew how to do a SELCAL check. Not to mention our OFP is not designed for Class II navigation.. the AFM and FOM contradict each other etc.. So I can see where the confusion is.

They are probably waiting until CPDLC is installed fleet wide (target date: next Halley’s comet) to roll it all into one.
