Nothing shocking, obviously if demand doesn’t come back by the fall they will have to cut costs further (ie giving planes back and furloughing).

Until Disney, Vegas and the Cruiselines open back up, what's the point of people flying on a leisure airline? Cant go to the beach, the Keys are closed to tourists, can't fly internationally. At least Everglades NP opens back up on Monday.

Yeah, I mean there’s literally nothing to do in this country if you’re not going cruising, gambling or to see the mouse. Literally nothing. And all of our relatives live next door.

Yes. I know. Follow me here. People will find other ****** to do if those places/things are not open for business when people gain confidence in traveling again. I have this funny feeling that the two will coincide.

Not sure how to post pics on here, but my friend in New Smyrna Beach showed me one she took this morning. Beaches PACKED.

• October 1st. Watching and waiting. Fluid. Will be (passenger)demand driven. Evaluating a range of outcomes. If rebound is quick we will grow. If very slow, we will possibly be smaller, less airplanes and crews.

• There is a potential for merger/acquisition. If so we want to be the ones in control of that discussion.

Thank you for the points, FivepointSlow

The most serious and disconcerting in my view.
Smaller or merged/acquired!
Bold statement means Frontier, which would be a disaster for us pilots...
Next worse option to furloughs.

Slowhawk 05-02-2020 02:50 PM

Let’s remember that just because he didn’t immediately scream “NO MERGER”, that doesn’t mean we have an impending merger announcement. This APC page was convinced that SWA was gonna buy us like 3 months ago:rolleyes:

astral 05-02-2020 03:01 PM

I agree^
BTW I would take a SWA merger, over a Frontier buy out, any day!
Stay away from their (F*#@9) toxic management...
