Default 700 furloughs have not been announced 7/13/20

Because if we’re gonna leave the first thread up, might as have have this one here too.

Instead let’s talk about how we have 700 people in line at the few open airport restaurants.

So we are furloughing 700 pilots? Is that what you meant to say?

I know future bookings are down, from certain base chats on a day by day basis, including what I flew last night, things seem
not great but not bad...94 bags, 171 on a 320

Find it hard to believe NK would cut over 25% especially before they offer long term VIL. I think they could have good success for 3, 6, or 12 month

The dude who posted this crap (on another NK thread that’s now closed) hasn’t posted in 5 years and has absolutely no source to back it up.

Big-3/Majors seem to ask for voluntary leaves, offer early-out packages (AA, SWA), and cut non-pilot staff (AA) before using the F word.

Has Spirit done all of the above? My understanding is not one non-Pilot (admin, HR, etc.) at Spirit has been laid off/cut yet.

SWA says it needs triple the bookings to avoid involuntary furloughs. I hope for the best, and obviously the other guy was just trolling, but I see no way that Spirit will avoid a number of involuntary furloughs.
