Frontier pilot here:

I bought a bunch of SAVE and UAL stock last spring/ summer.

The markers are always moving and always overreacting. If you own spirit stock, hold on to it. Be patient. It'll come back up. Personally, I'm holding very long term. Think about what Spirit could be in 10 or 15 years, and if you like what you imagine, don't sell

Delta variant concerns were priced in a while back by financial institutions. If you're speculating, you may not want to buy. If you're buying to hold, keep buying on the way down and up.

Who else is expecting Spirit to post a slight profit today?

Not a chance.

Best case is profitable for June and beats the estimate of 81 cents a share loss.

Isn’t the ULCC model supposed to be the best in a downturn? At least that’s what I keep hearing from the same guys that tell me CAs are making $300k

Comparing the Covid-19 pandemic to an economic downturn/recession is like apples to oranges.

I’m hoping we’ll show a positive ebitda margin (minus PSP). That’s what their last investor update said at least. And, technically all airlines have shown profits for Q2 thanks to the PSP….

It could be both. ULCC models could lose money along with everyone else in a downturn, just not as much. They could be the first to return to profitablity and be the ones with the biggest growth on the other side.
Remains to be seen.

Stick to flying. You’re pretty sh*tty at trolling.

In his defense a lot of guys on the line make those statements pretty frequently. YMMV.
