100% agree. I had done all of that pre-Covid, so "the only one hiring" wasn't even applicable then. Spirit really wants people who want to work for them and they expect you to be able to articulate that. Otherwise, its basic HR stuff, which can include questions, resume review, experiences etc.
Honestly, so far, Spirit has been the most enjoyable experience of my lengthy life so far, all very good people who really want to find the right people for the job.

Wanted to share my experience today for anyone getting the phone screen. VERY straight forward. A few questions about my resume, asked me if I knew or would be recommended by a current pilot (yes), and wanted to know WHY Spirit?
Everyone's reasons would/could be different but for me here is a list to start with.
1. Successful and robust business model. Expand...
2. Amazing company culture/environment. Expand...
3. Great Balance of QOL/Pay!
4. The current bases are very appealing.
We went over company information concerning this years hiring projections, pay during training, ect. They are very busy this week with WIA and haven't selected dates for interviews yet. She did mention that interviews have been 90%+ successful and the logbook checks as well.
I expect to get an interview or TBNT email by next week.
