I go down for logbook review this week. Does anyone know how far out classes are currently? I heard July, is that roughly accurate?

Perhaps even sooner. I know they are wanting to resume 48 a month in June, so that will open a lot of slots, however I would strongly recommend giving yourself at least a few weeks to get the study material down. In addition I know several people that they happily delayed out to September if memory serves due to commitments.

The training here is top notch, but it has the caveat that you really need to show up with their flows (CA and FO) plus memory items, limitations and callouts down fairly well. Things move quickly and while you don’t need to know everything cold on day one, the more the better.

Appreciate the answer! So in theory if they offer me the job this week, would they give options of classes to pick from or only give me one choice? Or could I say I'd prefer a certain month so long as I'd stay within 60 days of the logbook review so I wouldn't have to do another?

I understand everyone's situation is different, but you'd be crazy to ask for a later date, even if it means losing some sort of bonus. You'll make that up in no time with better trips and upgrading sooner, especially if we ever stop upgrading like we did last year.

Anyway, they do let you defer class. I have heard of some guys doing it for a few months.

last time I got furloughed I wouldn’t have been if I was in the previous class. No way to know that when I was hired. It wasn’t my choice but if I had the choice and the same thing happened I would’ve been more furious than I already was.

especially when we are hiring a lot you never want to take a later class. Seniority is everything and a few classes could mean a lot of seniority numbers

I deferred a class date and it cost me long call reserve for the last year. YMMV.

Hi I am trying to figure out how the Spirit interview works these days. There is a phone interview, and then there is a virtual interview after that. Is that correct? Or are they the same thing? I have head people talk about both.
Thank you
