Thank you

After that, there's an in-person logbook review.

In addition I know several people that they happily delayed out to September if memory serves due to commitments.

The training here is top notch, but it has the caveat that you really need to show up with their flows (CA and FO) plus memory items, limitations and callouts down fairly well. Things move quickly and while you don’t need to know everything cold on day one, the more the better.
Basically know everything before you show up....excellent training

Yeah, know the rote memory stuff THAT EVERYONE ELSE KNOWS, and you’ll have little problem learning how to apply it, and get a valuable new type rating for yourself. Personally, I think the first year pay (and for sure the training pay) needs to go up in the next contract, but right now it is what it is.

But congratulations - on your first day posting you’ve managed to troll five separate airlines (thus far). Are you even a pilot?

yes, troll, yes.

Know everything they tell you to learn before you show up. Then they coach you as you apply their method to fly their airplanes. That is the way they want you to do it. And you get a great QoL as you do it, and work with the best people in the industry - shiny happy people (some holding hands)

Its fast, its efficient and has a high success rate. This was only my second type - and "knowing everything" when I showed up, I was amazed by how smoothly the entire process went. Best training experience in my short 5 yrs as an airline pilot
