Submitted App, Now What?
 

Hey good folks! I submitted an online app probably a couple of months back, and emailed the “meet the chiefs” to request a spot, though I haven’t actually seen a notice on the Careers FB page about any Meet the Chiefs events. Is Spirit actually hiring and if so, is it a different process for interview now?

Yes we are hiring. I doubt you could submit an app if we weren't. As for the Meet the Chiefs, I have not heard about any yet. With Covid we stopped doing them, but I suspect we may sometime later this year. Hard to know for sure since we do have a lot of applications on file.

For now interviews are done via Zoom etc and, if selected, come down for an in person log book review. If logbooks check out your offered the job in person that day.

Submitted my app I wanna say almost a year ago,,,but I get it Covid lol. Built up some TPIC hours since then and have regularly kept it updated. Also updated it a couple times during the window that was open. It has said under review the whole time. Fingers crossed.

I heard the way to get hired before the interview is to dye your hair bright yellow.

I mean I’m open to that. Modern problems require modern solutions!

Based on what I saw when I applied, the only way for them to see your times is by your uploaded resume correct?

I actually meant to ask this. When I initially applied there was a section of questions that asked about flight times but since submitting my app I can’t find it anymore. Now I just submit an updated resume and that’s the only thing that has any times on it.

Does anyone have an app review service they recommend?

Not necessary, just double check your entries.
