Luggage Works Discount?
Is there any sort of Luggage Works discount? Seems like at my last airline gig we had some sort of discount. Maybe I'm dreaming.
Anyway, my old LW bag is in rough shape and I was limping it along a few years ago before I left the regionals and with my current job I just use a small bag. Anyway, is there a suggestion or recommendation on the best LW bag for the Bus? |

This website has some good quality Fanny Packs if you are looking for something lighter.
https://www.dagnedover.com/collectio...anny-pack#Onyx Lol very nice. Light and efficient and protects your sciatic nerve since you aren’t sitting on your wallet. |

Just get yourself a TravelPro. FlightCrew 5 22 Pilot. Great bag. Lighter, more internal space, less than half the price. Plus you don’t have to worry about taking out a toe on that ridiculous metal frame or looking like a dork when you travel on your days off. I’ll never understand the attraction to LW.

“Hey Dork, is that a LW bag”
Things I’ve never been asked The LW stealth/air line is much lighter and very durable. I still have many years left in mine, currently 7 years old. |

I’ve just come to this realization. Don’t need the lead lined bag anymore. Looking for recommendations |
Your bag is in a safe place now...the cockpit of an airbus.

Lol, no one’s asking “what bag is that?” And it’s still like a 12+ pound bag even in the stealth/air series. I’ve seen quite a few guys with the Briggs bag and they can’t say enough good about it. |

yeah but what about the back of a hotel van? Unless you do day turns I would think again.
It’s not like a travelpro or Briggs fall apart as soon as they’re put in the back of a hotel van… They’re made well too. |
Aerocoast has flight crew luggage now-
They make quality stuff. Their cooler has held up great for 9 years. Was told their Pro Carbon roller bag weighs 10lbs as is. |

I was short two wheels for my rollerblades. That explains the issue with the LW bag.[emoji3061]
You should get some new ones that light up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Do we have a bunch of limp wristed noodles here?! What’s wrong with the LW bag?? I can’t straight-arm shoot a SPAS-12 like the Terminator, but I can roll a bag….

Wish Costco would bring back their Kirkland bags…

Wasn't there some pilot (SWA I think) that was crowdfunding a line of good bags at a reasonable price?
What ever happened to that? Sorry, I wouldn't know what to google search for, that's why I'm asking here, I'm sure someone is in the know. |

Watching drivers grunt earning their buck lifting my metric ton of LW back into the back of the van is one of the few guilty pleasures I have left in this job.
