Have you seen the testing lines in NY? Once again NY is the epicenter of cases, with the testing lines to prove it.

Think it’s pretty much a done deal it will increase in numbers throughout the rest of the US. And that’s when I wonder how testing will be and how available it is.

Airports be packed! That’s a nice sight to see

Flow chart! Work the flow chart Bendo! The answer is in the flow chart.

How many tens of millions did we lose with the last meltdown and all they came up was “flow chart”

Crazy idea, maybe try to stay away from scenarios that require a flow chart?

Are we at the “Get a Helmet” level or “Put On the D**n Helmet” level?

I disagree. Most will take some decongestants or cough drops and get on with life. And it’s probably the best thing frankly as whatever portion of the population that hasn’t somehow managed to get infected will catch the mild cold version and we can get on with making this just another bug.

I haven’t looked. Are 3/4’s of the infected still asymptomatic with the new and improved mutation?

You assume we have a testing system to confirm we have omicron. Maybe you’ll stand in those lines they have in NY today for testing. Maybe you’ll be lucky to find a testing kit at CVS and then go through the hassle of getting the test cost refunded. 2 years in, still no viable and easily accessible testing for everyone. Big Government shows again how they can’t do much besides overspend

More likely people get it, it feels like a head cold, people show up like they usually do with a head cold, tell the other guy it’s “allergies” and the covid spreads and spreads.

I’m so over the FAs (and some pilots coming to work sick)! That is what your sick time is for!! Covid or not stop coming to work sick!

Now that said give me one good reason to get tested for covid if I have mild cold like symptoms. What does knowing its covid do for me? Now my entire family has to stop doing life because one member has a cold that might be mild covid? If this variant doesn’t kill people why should we be testing or even care if it’s covid?

If you can’t seem to come up with any other good reasons to get tested than here’s one for you: if you test positive you’ll get your flying dropped and pay protected per the COVID MOU.

I thought that expired back in May? I’m not saying you’re wrong...I could be wrong, I’m just not sure.

Yes I thought all the covid MOUs expired in June when the EILs were up.

Also, I’d rather just use the 20hrs for the 4day and go back when I’m better next week than having the company and probably FAA have record of me having covid for whatever shenanigans they may have planned for my medical in future years.

Finished a 4 day early yesterday morning… are we at the “Buy your own hotel once again because the only person we can reach are the chiefs” point yet?
