Agreed. I bought one and soon eligible for the “free one” from the company. Not knowing what our “approved uniform” will be when whatever merger is done, I’ll be snagging the free Karbon as soon as I’m eligible and I’ll use the extra Karbon as a winter jacket for outdoor trips. For $25 you can probably have a tailor remove the shoulder board straps if it bothers people.

I also have a Karbon I’m willing to part with amongst other new hire uniform items. The jacket is lightly used but like new, size Medium regular with FO epaulettes. The other pieces are 2 zipper ties, a brand new captains blazer sized 36R, and a few pairs of 32 waist paints.
