So past couple times riding on yall the FAs have made everyone on board open every window shade on approach. That a policy?

No, they just like to tell pax random things to see if they follow "rules".

Did they also tell you to return your seat back to its upright position?

Doesn’t this have something to do with recharging the photoluminescent strips?

I think they like to take care of those with full bright cabin lights on the last hour of a redeye. Great time to hawk credit cards too.

Actually it is a policy. It was put in after the ACY engine fire.

Just the FA's trying to flex their weak muscles.

Every airline should have this policy.

dualinput 04-28-2022 05:19 PM

People making these policies don’t realize what an irritation it is. Stop with the credit cards, the lucky seat, the happy birthdays, the airplane yoga (****es me off the most), and now the window shades. We just want to sleep or watch a movie without being bothered with announcements or blinding sun. Maybe when they make the announcements about idiots they need to wear headphones they should take their own advice and stop the nonsense announcements.

Thank goodness for small favors. And, no more knock down drag outs for this.
