FO in base vs commuting to DL
 

Just wondering if anyone here has left for a legacy even if it significantly shook up their QOL. Was it worth it? I'd love to get some insight on if you are happy with the move or not.

I live right next to ORD, pretty much drop every month and only fly x list (I know that won't last forever) and life is pretty great. I ultimately want to move eventually because of the combination of high taxes and terrible schools here.

DL would mean commuting in the short / medium term before moving somewhere that I want to live.

I'm just curious if anyone took a legacy offer even if they had a pretty cushy life here, and if it was worth it in hindsight.
