Hello from a friendly B6 pilot who is interested in our mutual success in negotiating an industry leading Joint CBA in a few years. Looked at your AIP and I understand its underwhelming to the vast majority of Spirit pilots

JetBlue has fairly significant negotiations going on tomorrow and Wednesday. Our union has stated that we will be in a contract dispute if no AIP is reached by Wednesday. The MEC reps I've spoken with are fairly upbeat that we will get an AIP by Wednesday. This is of course not guaranteed, but may people are cautiously optimistic. I think the MEC won't send us any AIP that is less than industry leading pay with a snap up clause. If we do get an AIP on Wednesday, I hope it gives you ammunition to vote no. Given that if Robin has his way, we will be the same company in Q1 of 2024. It seems wrong to me that we will have different pay and becoming one company. Would your MEC just consider "copy and pasting" our AIP pay rates if we do get an industry leading AIP on Wednesday? It only seems fair since we are working to become one company. Either way, I hope you all get paid what you are worth while we wait and see what happens with the merger.

If 12 year CA pay is lagging behind your new AIP numbers, then yes we might see it. Those MFers get matched to AK rates while everyone else is lagging to some degree.

NK here. The TA was pretty close to what I expected. And the unanimous MEC approval was too. I think top rate is still too low, the slope is still too steep, and training pay is still atrocious. I think it will pass and do nothing to stop people from leaving, and good luck getting anyone with more that 1500 hours to apply. So, worst of both worlds, but our but both management and the NC/MEC think it is good enough, so nothing will happen until the merger unless we vote no.
And free prediction for your TA: It won't be better than the DL TA, and no snap up. Would love to be proven wrong.

news flash. You’re not going to see anything close to industry leading at the moment. At best maybe Alaska. I suspect the number will be nearly identical to spirit dos+1

Robin knows whatever he agrees to for that deal, there are over 3000 more pilots soon to be on property as well, building off that for a TPA and JCBA.
