Pants

Just got the company issued pants, not a fan... I've heard crew outfitters is great. Any other suggestions?

avi8orco 04-03-2023 02:38 PM

my only suggestion is please don’t wear royal blue. make sure it’s navy blue.

Let’s stop the embarrassment.

oh and before I forget, we were dress shoes. Not sneakers.

yes, these things really have to be talked about.

So just looking at other retailers, would our colors match AA or UAL better?

You are the first person I’ve heard , other than the crew outfitters sales rep to say it’s great.

Air Stang 7 04-03-2023 09:03 PM

Jeans and Crocs would be pretty comfortable.

I've been told if you go with crew outfitters to get the UAL midnight navy.

might as well just buy black pants. and if somebody tells you that is stupid just remind them that the carbon jackets are black and don’t match our blue trousers anyway. 🤷‍♂️

Macjet 04-04-2023 09:20 AM

These are good

A lot of us were Dockers. Kohl’s usually has them on sale too. Very comfy and don’t itch or hug the jewels

Shiny pants brigade! I can see you from the other side of the terminal.

Dont be like Speed Brakes, Dockers are for church and for brunch.

You mean before you started flying?

My advice is to take your Crew Outfitters pants to Dillards / JcPenny's / wherever, color match the best you can, and buy some legit fitting pants for $30. It's a Dark Navy Blue and they're rather difficult to match, but the Crew Outfitters pants fit horribly, and you can get some much better pants for half the price from a retailer - just take them with you to the store to color match the absolute closest you can.

You can lead a horse to water...

Or, you can click the link I posted and get an exact color match wrinkle free nearly tailored look delivered to your door. Your way is probably just as easy.

Or maybe he is a horse that doesn’t want to wear 100% polyester pants? Personally I don’t like the look of 100% polyester/microfiber and will spring for extra for at least a 50% wool pair of slacks.

Tranquility 04-07-2023 04:41 PM

Which looks closest to the blazer should be the debate.

It would be if people wore the blazer.

I wear the Dillards pants too. I don't think you would be able to guess their fiber makeup unless you notice they're not pilling. Regarding matching the blazer--- tailor the HPI pants.

FLYBOYMATTHEW 04-08-2023 08:08 PM

HPI pants are so bad they're untailorable.

2StgTurbine 04-08-2023 09:00 PM

You all still wear pants to work?

If you just fly weekends and red eyes, management will never see what your wear ;)

BusBoi 04-09-2023 09:15 AM

I have one pair of the HPI pants and they're not terrible, but poorly sized. You have to order at least one size higher and then have them tailored. I did the same with my free upgrade blazer; ordered a little bigger then had it tailored.

Great idea. Except the link you provided is out of 50% of the sizes.
