No, you missed his point completely.

As it went over your head, it was simply this: if you can't figure it out, you probably shouldn't be applying in the first place.

Excellent, thanks for your help.

If you can do the captains you fly with a favor; since you stated your career goal is Delta with a quick stop at the “LCC with the bright colors,” please tell the CAs this so they won’t waste their time trying to help you.

Being humble and working hard in your current position is the best preparation for a future position. That is good advice for most any career.

Hello all. My career goal, like many, is to fly for Delta. I recently started flying for the LCC with the bright paint job. I was hired within the past 6 months with 1500 hours. I have about 100 muli engine turbine hours.
Given that 1000 multi engine turbine is no longer a requirement when do you recommend I put in my application? Any application prep services you would recommend? Thank you all in advance.

Nevermind. Well, what do you expect from a busdiver. He probably has about 5 hours responsibly handling too.

Which is his point.

The same rules that apply to talking about fight club, incidentally, apply to discussion of the FFDO process in a public forum.

Actually, our rules are spelled out in writing:

1. You cannot talk about anything related to FFDO operations, including funding, training details, program size, etc.

2. You can however talk about admin, how to apply, training backlog, logistics, travel, etc. It's not like the bad guys can use that info to sneak into the program... if there's a bad guy applying to FFDO we already have a big problem.

It's not the forum rules to which I was referring, but again, if he can't figure out how to apply, he probably shouldn't.
