2nd quarter

What are the odds TC blames the entire 2nd quarter on this rain event in Florida?

STOP adding flying to Florida. You can’t continue to blame wx and jax center for your inability to make profits. Fly somewhere else where jax center is not on the flight plan and terrible weather isn’t as common.

NO VISION!

No need to worry, most of our crews are based in Florida and with our amazing new pairing construction, we'll be out of this lickity split!

It seems we've added some flying on the west coast, which is good. Suddenly a bunch of new routes from PDX.

I want accountability for this management group. How many times are you going to blame the wx in FL for your problems

it’s a legit excuse and disruption. How we handle it is what will determine our success. Recall southwest royal F up over Xmas last year and they lost billion. Outdated software took a lot of blame. IROP is normal
with bad weather.

this above is standard Barry Biffle/Frontier

More standard stuff:

-JAX Center
-Ukraine
-Hurricane Katrina
-Lazy work zoom meeting users who stay home now
-"loads are down" but that is actually a good thing. Our (empty) planes push back on time (finally), get loaded faster, and burn less fuel (lighter). "So we see this as a positive"
-loads are up: we are clearly winning and the public knows price is King. Kudos to management.
-Fuel is expensive: "our hands are tied" but our leadership is to be commended for excellent decision making, no APU, single engine taxi, etc. Kudos to management
-Fuel is cheap: one reason fuel is cheap is our management is excellent and we have excellent relationships with fuel suppliers. Kudos to management.

etc

When 1000 yr storms hit every year you can’t concentrate over half of your operation in that location with an airline this size. Single events like these can make or break your profitability for an entire year.

That’s not a recipe for success. Doing the same thing as the past and expecting different results is foolish.
