Spirit of NKS, The Final Chapter

Well, looks like this is really it.

I enjoyed my time at Spirit really great place to work. Most crews were really great. Just wish a lot of people on the chats weren’t whistling past the grave and took this threat little more seriously I mean I understand you gotta stay positive but also sometimes you gotta be real.

I learned a lot from all the fellow pilots I flew with…lots of invaluable experience. Got a visit really cool places like Lima (Tequila Rocks was epic!) and Colombia was amazing! Too many layovers in Las Vegas and Baltimore…felt like my second home🙄

never did get that “second bite of the apple” just like those new uniforms 😄

Good luck to the pilots finding the next chapter in their aviation career. If you were a CKA, thank you! You made these some of the best aviators in the industry! Training was top-notch at Spirit and even a lot more thorough than at my current legacy.

Godspeed & Forever Ned’s Kids 🖤💛NKS

I always tell people that Spirit was the best job I ever had, but had to leave to have the best possible career for myself and family.

Agree with the above that the training was top notch. They forced you to know the airbus, and I am now grateful for that.

Good luck to everyone.

A very classy post sir, to cap off a great career at spirit, and an even great career as a top APC troll. I tip my hat to your prowess and your ability to be serious when it counts

If not a tattoo then I could see a bag tag or pin with this on it.

Good luck to everyone. I too look at my time with Spirit, as the most enjoyable part of my career. Those of you who know me, it’s been a pleasure and if you need letters, let me know.

I do appreciate your post last June/July about trouble brewing again despite the successful BK1 exit. THAT post, on here, was the impetus for me to leave in time. Not the BK1, not the removal of TC, not all the other obvious signs. Just a simple post on here one night randomly browsing forums, that there was trouble again so soon when there shouldn't have been any.

In this country it’s NEVER too late to reinvent yourself. Or so I’ve discovered. After all my misfortunes & mistakes.

Take some time. Catch your breath. Find the pride in what you did and built. Then you’re ready. Don't be afraid to put yourself first for a bit.

I’ll miss the call sign but look forward to hearing your voices in the future, joining the crowd, yelling at DL broadcasting on guard. Unless that’s now you.

The money ******* will work itself out. Always does.

My first and only NK post. Just thinking about y’all.
