Don't doubt it. I was furloughed for years... had to do something to keep sane.

Yes you're right. I saw that special on MSNBC. What would you have to say about a Spirit pilot that marries one and has a baby?

Doesn't make what I said any less true.

I'd also say that if that guy found true love then great but if he looks at himself as some humanitarian savior to a woman half his age that had no options then I'd say he should reevaluate. She probably only looks at him as a piggy bank. Still financial bondage.

Sorry if this was covered in one of the 700+ pages.

Also how long could a new hire hold a line in ACY? Thanks
I bet ACY stays open. If not ACY, I could see a future PHL base or ACY/PHL co domicile possibly. PHL could be a major growth market depending on how AA/US shakes out. PHL could also serve as our Transatlantic gateway in the future.

Seriously? Only the Kool-aid drinkers, huh? Something about a horse and water rings a bell here. The communication is out there....whether you choose to see/ read it is another thing.

Edit: If you're not getting the emails, instead of whining on a ***** board about it, email [email protected] and let them know you've got a problem. I'm sure they'd be happy to get you squared away.

Yawn... Wasn't *****ing but stating a fact. I would prefer they open the books and show us where the union dues are going and whose trip drops we pay for and how much. I can't seem to get an answer on that one.

The 'open the books' refrain again...I'm sure you can imagine where the union dues go.

ALPAshutusdown, it's useless to argue with some of the people here. Petty little administrative nuisances such as publishing a yearly or quarterly budget, publishing trip drops, and providing the membership information about possible LOA's being negotiated with the company (huh? LO what, what's that?) are not your business! Remember, you MUST (not SHALL) faithfully subscribe and believe everything that your union and representatives say, do and preach. ALWAYS! Anything short of that will lead you the fires of eternal damnation. Therefore, DO NOT question them! ManFlex said it: "I'm sure you can imagine where the union dues go." Just be sure, ALPAshutusdown. Just be sure. Bbbaaaaaeeehhhhh!!! BBaaaaeeehhhhh!!!
