Is it true a lot of Capt/First Officers are leaving and moving on to the Legacy Carriers? Is this the reason for all the hiring?

As a senior FO, I moved up over 20 numbers between January and July, for what it's worth. That's not a huge amount, and not all of that was voluntary attrition, but people must be going somewhere.

My LGA turn found a FO tonight. I guess wasting a JRM on 4 hours is worth it? Personally, I was thinking a new contract would get us more money in the long run.

I moved up a net of one this month. That's it. I think some of the young fos are leaving, but not many. Captains? Not sure why a captain would leave except for those who still have recall rights. I know of one who could leave for American and have quite a chunk of seniority, but he hasn't left yet. If this rumored TA is a stinker, I might think about putting my app in the water and see what bites.

Can anyone give me an example of what a monthly schedule is like in ACY? I've read it goes fairly junior.

This would be my first 121 job. I've been doing 135 cargo, corporate, and charter for the last 7 years.

Also, I have a ton of turbine multi time, but have been flying a pc12 lately, are they strict on the 50 multi in the last year?

I'd go get a Jet job and get competitive. PC12 isn't ever going to get you a call by anyone other than a regional. Good luck... IMHO

I'm typed PIC sd3, ce-500, and ce-650. 4300tt. 700 turbojet over 12.5k lbs/half pic, 1300 multi-turboprop also over 12.5k lbs. I've only been flying the pc12 for the last year, will that hurt me?

I just submitted an app, guess ill find out.

I saw a unicorn once on a beach in LIM. It flew down from the mountains and had shimmering golden wings. She whispered in my ear and told me the future.
