FedEx TA. Pay rates look great, but their top out is 15 years. 6 week bid packages really, really suck. I don't think this can be reiterated enough. Someone much smarter than I will need to explain why their scope agreement and merger protection is better than ours, it looks very close to what we have written in, minus the gross weight minimum. Since we don't have a retirement plan, that part is N/A for us. Also, the latest MEC email was pretty thorough, I'm hopeful that a deal is close, mainly because it sounds like the MEC says it's important.

Their LTD is much much better than ours but far from the best out there
In regards to the 6 week bid periods it seems that the group is discussing the impact and how often it would be used. I agree it would suck.

It seems that much like the Sick Call policy in the DAL TA that sent a lot of people to the no camp, the Health Insurance changes in the FedEx TA is also cause for concern.
We have an active Scope Merger Committee. What do you see from the MEC and NC that tells you this is a priority?
Good writeup from the Safety, JS and Hotel, not so much the MEC.

Absolutely, cheers to hotel, jumpseat, and especially safety/accident investigation on a great pay day hotline. The MEC...? "we heard from all committees, including merger"...but there's nothing going on. The rest of it was all media style cliffhanger bits of information including the "Spirit Pilot Relief Resolution." What's in it?
FedEx TA. Haven't read it but I'll post it here for study. Pilot group seems split on their forum.

Obviously pay rates aren't everything but ours are quickly becoming comical with these latest two offers, one of which was voted down at delta.
I like their merger/acquisition/sale language in the scope section. The rest of it seems more cargo specific but also has some holes.
Our scope section needs major work in regards to code sharing and mergers

I'm not worried 'bout wide bodies, I don't want that kind of flying, don't need that kind of pay. Those 737/757 pay rates make it tough to swallow our pay rates. But make NO mistake about it, our 321s carrying 228 pax is going to require us to start comparing the 757.
Even at 218....
