Spirit did technically make the list! But those number decreases are pretty brutal.
Not really. Doing the math with the above numbers, we went from 0.92 down to 0.6. That's hardly any movement at all.

Have you read anything in this section? Do not come here! Stay at where you are at and go to a real airline. Don't waste your time here. I wasted almost 3 years and now Im trying to get out. Should have stayed at my regional while working to go elsewhere. Would have been picked up by now

Don't do it. It's a risk with little to no reward.

From what I have seen and heard from several cka's, there have been several new hires let go in the last few months. They have been weeding them out before they even get to the sim. The most disturbing thing I have heard is that they are not allowed to tender their resignation, they are being terminated. Great place eh.

I'm personally done with any interest in Spirit, unless a new contract and culture come along. Right now it sounds like a miserable disaster of a company and I don't feel like dealing with that idiot training program. Even though I'm at a (possibly) dying regional, I'll stay here and realistically try for JB or VX/AS (building internals at both). Only if my regional actually does shut down or closes my base (I refuse to commute) and I have no luck at other majors, will I consider Spirit in it's current form. It'll be go to Spirit or lateral to another regional.

Why limit to JB and Alaska? aa, united, delta, and southwest are all hiring and have ratified contracts. Heck united even opens negotiations on an industry leading contract next year

Heard the same. Of the two I have first hand knowledge of; one was able to resign rather than continue into the SIM and the other was terminated after an OE extension.
