Yup. Long term things will be always be better if everyone is raising the bar. More to gain less to lose.

Actually I had one day carry in which gave me total line credit of 87 hours. I swapped two 4 day trips for two 3 day trips which cost me 10 hours (down to 77 hours) but I gained two more days off and better trips. ( I hate 4 days).

I'm not obtuse or acute, which I guess makes me right. My point in this case is, someone monitoring open time for "chokers" would only see this guy picking up 2 three days. Does he have to submit his pay report to the overtime tribunal to stay off the list or what?

Ummm... major difference between leaving Spirit for American vs leaving Spirit for Envoy or any other regional with a "guaranteed" flow (whatever that means. Pensions were "guaranteed" too. Remember those?) hoping that your flow number comes up before this house of cards collapses.

Some of us have been around long enough to see that flows go both ways. Or they just disappear altogether.

The economy is overdue for a downturn. A big one. Probably not as big as 2008, but it's still coming. Have fun at Envoy when your flow slows, then stops, then reverses.

Merry Christmas troll.

Spirit Airlines Flight 975 in Detroit canceled due to sick...
I got a call around that time, stressed out sounding scheduler offering to make me a company VP and above guarantee for the next 5 years if I could get to the airport in an hour. But I don't want to be called nasty names on the internet so I didn't answer the phone or call back.

Plus I live in Vegas, which apparently doesn't matter when they try to find people to pick up no-notice flights out of DTW. And I'm already flying Christmas because new guy, so I've got all sorts of alibis why that isn't my fault even though I'm DTW based and didn't work that day.

Does that help? I can't tell.

Yeah, you're plenty obtuse...don't kid yourself otherwise. While I support keeping schedules in the ALV range, don't think I've ever said anything about forming a list, submitting pay reports, etc... So until you can understand the difference between what others are talking about, and my respect for someone improving their schedule to the tune of 21 days off, you might want to go back to reading comprehension 101.

Merry Christmas!

A newbie with two quick questions here. Where can I go to look up the tail number of a plane I flew? (Crew Track will show me the hours and flight number but not tail number)

Also on the FLICA website, under open time what does the "TB" in the green circle to the right of the pairing number mean? Thanks! Merry Christmas.

Crew Track under "scheduled service" will give you the tail number. TB=Tradeboard
