A couple classes were delayed due to attrition not keeping pace with their expectations. Next class of 6, I believe, starts in August. Not sure if they are resuming monthly classes after that. I think they have a pool of some sort so that might explain why you haven't heard anything.

You can all do Sun Country pilots a favor by staying clear and not applying. When mgmt can't find anyone to sit in class because of their turd contract, they'll come to the table. Then and only then because we all know they will never be released.

Don't let me tell you what to do, but if you plan to come here to "be based at home" be careful. Inefficient schedules that leave you with only 10 days off each month after you pick up additional flying to try and make ends meet doesn't exactly make you feel "based at home". New bases are not completely off the table either, it's just a matter of time.

It’s not the airline it was. Guys that have been here for 30 years are now packing overnight bags. The previous poster is correct. You will work your butt off just to make a few extra bucks. The fast upgrades and doing turns is all but gone. It’s lost it’s QOL. Guys came here knowing pay was less but you were home most nights. It’s turned into a worse place to be because the pay isn’t offsetting the lost QOL. Management doesn’t care either.

Since the other posts didn't seem to really answer your question, yes, it would seem that they are hiring. I'm also 135 but had some other helpful boxes checked on my resume. Fewer hours than you. I got an interview invite two months after first submitting the app.
