All joking aside, why is this question repeatedly glossed over by the current pilots there?

Airline Pilot Central - Sun Country | Major-National-LCC

These rates leave a lot to be desired. At some point it just doesn't make sense to leave a regional to fly for Sun Country.

I talked to this with one of my friends over there and this is what they told me, so take it what it is worth.

Management has real no incentive to sign a new contract because the pilots there know that the only thing they can do is strike and if they strike the company will go belly up right away. The majority of the pilots there can not afford to restart their careers over there fore will not risk a strike. And management knows this.

Once again that is what a friend told me of the situation. They also believe that a good portion of the pilots are willing to accept this because the extra profit the company is making is being used to buy new planes and grow.

There is more to a job than a quick upgrade.
But again there FO and CA wages are well bellow industry standard, I am sure the guys are working on it though.

I have been applying there since 2009...not a peep.

I see Contrail didn't get a response, but I was wondering what is latest and greatest at Sun Country? On the APC profile I see that two -700s are being added this Spring. Thanks!
