Interview denial
Shortly after applying to Sun Country I got an email saying my app had been reviewed and I would not be offered an interview. Is this normal? I'd never heard of an airline doing this as opposed to just not giving an interview. Currently I'm an LCA at a regional, 4 year degree, clean training record and no FAA violations.

They probably figure you will not likely stick around very long. I've heard many guys say they are on their way out only being at sunny a year or less. Maybe getting rid of the training contract wasn't a good idea. People come in with TPIC, get a new type and check off the last box the real airlines are looking for.

Again, it’s possible as said above but there are many who have come here for other reasons i.e., family (wife, elderly parents), location, kids schooling, sports, etc... with heaps of TPIC even in the 737...who have no desire to commute at any price!

I agree with the above. Sounds strange to get a denial response instead of no response at all. I would definitely double check your app for errors like accidentally clicking "Yes" on the "Are you a registered sex offender?" question. Sounds like you have solid qualifications and the application stack is NOT a tall one.

FWIW. As of last Saturday, I was told by a senior ops mgr, hiring would continue with CJOs being offered to those successful in interview.
