Personal electronic device problems
My job has me in extreme cold conditions during the winter and your typical average hot conditions in the summer. Mixed with continuous cabin altitude changes from sea level to 12000 ft in both pressurized and unpressurized planes. I’m just curious if anyone has been having problems with their cell phones or tablets over a period of time. I’ve noticed some functions on my iPad quit working and I’ve only had it for a year and a half. My friend and i both got the same new phones the same day a year ago and mine is not quite 100% anymore unlike my friend’s which is still working like new. Just wondering if this flying thing is the culprit to my electronic issues.

My plastic E6B's keep malfunctioning under similar elevated thermal conditions. This seems to happen most often after leaving them on the glareshield. I wonder if there is a report available concerning this issue as well?

For me I have technical issues such as random freezing, restarts, slow performance the camera on the iPad crapped out which I use to scan documents sometimes etc. just makes me wonder if they are subjected to extremes of pressure changes and temps it greatly reduces their life expectancy.

I also have random freezing, restarts, slow performance, and both my cameras are getting worse; but that's just old age. You're issue could just be the heat. Heat is the enemy of Tech/electronics, iPhones included.
