Once over Minneapolis in the Saab 340 I had a dual engine fail, with a hydrolic failure as well, so we dead sticked it and geared up cause we could get em down before all hydrolics were lost, skidded to a stop, and blew up, only in the flight safety simlulator of course. DG precessed over 10 degrees on my solo cross-country,
didn't correct for magnetic variation,
or wind drift,
entered tfr airspace,
intercepted by vipers,
slowed to mca and flipped off the viper drivers,
they couldn't slow down enough to return the favor,
blackhawk next,
dude with assault rifle was serious,
'forced' to land at controlled field,
got the green light from tower,
landed, shutdown and ran about 10 yards,
caught, spoke to guys in blue uniforms,
spoke to some more dudes in black suits,
then 1 man in the tweed jacket and golf pants ensemble,
he said I was free to go,
filled out nasa form,
drove to post office,
crashed on way,
woke up......
....bummer, I wanted to see how that one turned out...
