Alternate Derived Minimums

Does the 600-2, 800-2 rule ever apply in part 121 operations? If so, what's the regulation to back it up? I'm learning alternate derived minimums and occasionally I calculate things that are above 600-2/800-2, so I'm wondering if C055 (the op-spec) superceed part 91.169 or vice-versa.

Thank you in advance.

The 600-2 & 800-2 only apply if the air carrier does not have C055. If the carrier applies & gets approved for C055, then the C055 supersedes the 91.169.

Essentially all 121 ops have C055, so take it to heart.

Thank you. Is there anyway to prove that?

It will be in the airline's OPSPEC if it's authorized. 121 regs supersede part 91 where they conflict (some part 91 regs still apply to 121, 135, etc).
