Technical Info Request on B737NG, A320

I’m looking for high level information on operator name, manufacturer-name/model # for the MCDU, CMU, CMC and Audio Control Panel on the B737NG and A320 series aircraft for an engineering project.

Can any pilots/maintainers help with this info, or point towards potential sources of this info?

A320NEO vs 737 MAX design question

I was watching a video on how to visually tell the differences between Airbus and Boeing planes, and when they were comparing the 737 to the A320, they mentioned how the design of the landing gears holds the A320 higher of the ground, while the 737 has much lower clearance.

This got me thinking... I know that the design of the 737 MAX was the result of trying to fit bigger engines on a plane with less clearance, which led to the repositioning of the engines and the change in balance of the plane, etc.

Is there a reason they didn't just decide to redesign the landing gear to give the plane more clearance instead? Would that have been a simpler design change?

Why redesign the gear?

You can simply move the engine forward and up.

The rest is history..

Where are you going to put the longer gear when you retract it? There isn't "extra space" in the design for it.

I wonder if it’ll still work on the Ultra MAX 16 Extreme

Anything can work with enough time, money and exotic engineering/materials. Even helicopters work...kinda.

[MOD INPUT] Caution, Security!

Anyone who has a legit need to do engineering on airliner avionics can pursue that via legit channels, not here.
