IA/A&P aircraft owner...
Hypothetical: I own a Bonanza and possess an A&P and IA. Can I do my own inspection, make a squawk list, then do my own work and sign my airplane back into service? I'd think the FAA would see this as a HUGE conflict of interests, especially regarding commercial operations. I'm a total noob with MX and do not own a Bonanza (I would give one of something I have two of to get one), so correct me if there is a blatent answer out there. Thanks!

I turned wrenches through high school and college to get my A&P, and I swore I'd not turn a wrench again once I got a flying job. HAH. Looks like my A&P may be the only reason I'll afford my way through the first two years at a regional, once I get there..
