A320 Navigation Display
Hey Airbus drivers, I got a question about the navigation display. What does the blue angled arrow on the screen depict? I'm doing an FTD project for one of my classes and my partner and I can't figure out what it means.
Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the response McBB!
This arrow though was seen on climb, kind of looked like <, but not as sharp of an angle. We ruled out TOC because we reached cruise prior to it. Any other ideas?

I'd need to see a picture of the arrow. I think that I know what you are talking about. While you were climbing, did you climb faster than green dot? I think that the magenta arrow would be a FMS prediction of TOC. It has been a little while and I can't seem to find my old manuals.

Gah, I wish I had a picture of it. I've searched and can't find one anywhere. Vertical speed on this FTD was anywhere from 1,000-4,500 fpm. I'm guessing that the upper limits of that range would be faster than green dot?
