Backup Attitude Gyro System

What is the most practical backup attitude gyro system that is truly redundant for general aviation single engine aircraft during IMC flight?

I like the Precise Flight gizmo that uses back pressure from the exhaust, or something like that. It's cheap to buy and install compared to other things I've seen.
