CJ Fuel Burn

For flight and financial planning, what for fuel burn would one use for a 1998 Citation Jet. This is the original CJ I'm referring to here.

Sorry, can't help you on the fuel burn. Is your avatar from the cover of the book "Z for Zachariah"?

I was not aware of this, but a quick "Google" search says yes. The artist is Boris Vallejo. I just snipped what I needed.

Vallejo does nice work. His calendars are pretty cool, I believe he did the cover artwork on one of the Conan the Barbarian comics in the 80's.

I believe Fltplan.com has a pretty accurate CJ1 profile.

From what I understand, the CitationJet/CJ1 is not terribly far off from our burns in the CJ2+: conservatively 1100/800/750/700.

Thanks BoilerUP, I never thought to look on Fltplan for that info. I did find what I was hunting for, now time to push the prospective owner over the hump and commit!

Over the past 1200 hours of flying a 98 CJ, we have seen 145 gals/hour average. Our average flight time is .9 over the same time period.
